Postive: "GREEN LANES: Cheap and good food shopping. Good bus and tube connections. Many shops/cafes open 24 hours - convenient & makes it safer coming back at night. Tube in zone 2. Ok & cheapish pubs. Park nearby"
GREEN LANES:Very studenty place. Also very Turkish &;there is a real sense of community you don't get in the centre of town. Excellent grocers and kebab shops both open 24 hrs. You can get best fruit and veg in London around the clock. Busy high street- always people about"
Negative: "GREEN LANES:No funky clubs, but there are some cheap pubs."
"GREEN LANES: Can be noisy and dirty on main high street."
"GREEN LANES:Quite seedy late at night with shifty late night drinking clubs ."
N4 is the sixth most popular postcode for students within London and the most popular "budget" postcode. There are obvious advantages to this area. These include relatively inexpensive accommodation and good transport links (to the North of Finsbury Park there is Manor House tube and to the south there is Finsbury Park tube itself).
Many students will live either around Green Lanes (north) or Stroud Green(south).
